The America lobby?

An Israeli Labour MK, Isaac Herzog has accused Israel's notorious America lobby of acting for a foreign state. Ha'aretz puts it like this:

Labor Party MK Isaac Herzog accused the Bush administration Thursday of intervening in internal Israeli politics and promoting Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his Kadima party ahead of the March elections.

"Aside from saying 'Go vote Sharon,' they did everything else," Herzog, a former housing minister and current MK, said.

Well fancy lobbying trying to influence a country's election results in the interests of your own country. Disgraceful. They should haul Bush up before the Un-Israeli Activities Committee.
