Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s one-day visit to the UK next week has been dismissed by officials in his own government as "pointless" and an "embarrassing waste of national resources".Let's see if I can understand this. Olmert is departing office soon because he is believed to be more of a criminal than Israeli leaders have to be if they are to maintain Jewish supremacy in occupied Palestine. His own officials don't particularly want him to come to the UK to meet with his zionist cohort, Gordon Brown, but he's coming anyway at great cost to Israel and, presumably, to the UK. So why is Gordon Brown going along with this? The article doesn't actually say. All it says is that Olmert asked and Brown obliged. What a sick joke. Can't someone cobble together some war crimes charges so that Olmert could beat a hasty retreat from Heathrow airport? He comes here Monday, he leaves here Tuesday. I think Brown might want to superglue the ornaments to the mantelpiece.
Despite the Israeli PM being officially invited to London by Gordon Brown, Israeli officials have told the JC that Mr Olmert was "angling" for an invitation and that there was no urgent matter that warranted a face-to-face meeting between the two leaders.
